Finding my Fit...the search continues

The whole reason I started this blog was to create a platform to share my world, a place to get ALL my thoughts out and maybe provide some motivation for anyone who stumbles across it.


So in the spirit of sharing, I thought I would recap where I’m at in my search to finding my fit!


One of the best changes I’ve made so far is walking. It might not sound like much but it has already made a massive difference to how my day goes.



Getting in a morning walks means that I’ll have a clear head, be generally a nicer person and kick off my fat burning potential.


No morning walk means that I’ve usually over slept and running behind, which makes me way less sassy and whole lot more snappy!


You can see why I think it's a big deal.


But, and there's always a but, my additional exercise on top of walking or running has been much like the girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead…you know, when it’s good, it’s very, very good but when it’s bad it’s horrid! My mum would always sing that song to me...ha-ha but I digress...



I’ll be honest, being a PT doesn’t make working out any easier. In fact, you can feel even more pressure to be disciplined, motivated and full of beans in creating your own programme of sweat inducing horribleness! Ugh! Just like anyone else working out, I like to feel that I’m a part of something, to be told what to do and to get some direction.


Hence why I’ve been searching around for, well, my fit. Unfortunately, seeing as there’s nothing quite like the super cool, amazing pink gym that I used to own…I will need to find the next best thing.


After lots of research on the Googles and talking to my girlfriends, I decided to try the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

 Here’s a snapshot of the Challenge:

  • Its starts Monday (and we all know you can ONLY start something new on a Monday!)

  • One off $49 fee for the month

  • Fully customisable meal plan

  • Workout plan with fitness testing

  • Easy to use App (with progress tracker/meals/shopping lists/workouts all on my phone)

  • Online Challenge Hub

  • There’s a FB group, but I’m not on Facebook. But I'm following them on Instagram

And there you have it.


Something solid to focus on and keep me on track.
