Descending Minutes Workout

November 3, 2016

I love my workouts to be interesting and, dare I say it, fun! As I work my way through a catalogue of my tried and tested workouts, this one is sure to light the fire within and work up quite a sweat. I did this in my front yard so you can adjust if you're in a gym.

Equipment:

- Skipping Rope

- Mat

- A kettlebell or weight plate

- Timer (phone or stopwatch)

* Rest long enough to adjust the timer

The workout is divided up into minute allotments eg. 6 minutes of work, then 5 minutes etc down to one final minute. You simply work each circuit until the clock stops:

6 MINUTES:

2 minute run around the block

2 minutes of step ups

2 minutes of animal walks up and down the driveway (duck walk, bear crawl, inch worm etc)

5 MINUTES:

5  Plate Ground to Overhead

10 Plate Good Mornings

15 Plate Thrusters

(You can use a Kettle bell here and do KB swings instead of Ground to Overhead)

4 MINUTES:

10 Squats

20 Donkey Kicks

30 Glute Raises with the plate

3 MINUTES:

10 Sit Ups

20 Toe Touches

30 Ankle Taps

2 MINUTES:

Skipping

1 MINUTE:

Burpees - Non Stop!
